SBTK Practices for Autonomic Balance
The Sound Breath Toolkit (SBTK) is an autonomic nervous system practice using sound, breath, and movement.
The focus of SBTK practices are simple and adaptable breathing exercises that tonify the vagus nerve and help balance the sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous systems. Informed by the polyvagal theories of Dr. Stephen Porges and auditory discoveries of Dr. Alfred Tomatis, SBTK is smart soundwork combined with breath and movement.
SBTK is sonic activism using breath, sound, and movement to help individuals and communities cope in turbulent times.
